Invader, also known as Space Invader, is a French Urban artist renowned for his mosaic installations inspired by the 1970s video game Space Invaders. Since beginning his "invasions" in Paris in 1998, he has placed weather-resistant, pixel-like mosaics in cities worldwide, including notable sites like the Hollywood Sign. Invader’s work, featured in galleries and celebrated in the documentary Exit Through the Gift Shop (2010), explores themes of nostalgia, technology, and urban space through his iconic street art and Rubik’s Cube creations.
